Intro to Paragliding
The Many Feathers Intro course is the perfect place to start paragliding lessons and your journey into the exciting world of paragliding! We offer introductory lessons so you can learn the first basic skills and essential muscle memory exercises you need for a successful, safe flight as well as make new friends.
The course fee is 550$ with gear rental included and is applied toward your continued training if you decide to continue your flight career.

At Many Feathers, we are offering a 35 flight paragliding course that will provide you with the advanced basics and teach you how to fly alone in the great outdoors with limitations on conditions (P2).
By the end of the paragliding lessons, you will be able to prepare equipment, takeoff, pilot and land your paraglider on your own, with a host of theories and techniques (about 8 hours ground school) that you'll need for safe flying as a beginner. This includes all ratings and discounts on all tours and clinics and future gear purchased thru the school. Enroll today and take your first step towards total autonomy!

At Many Feathers, we believe that paragliding should be accessible to everyone, regardless of budget. That’s why we offer payment plans, as well as GEAR BUY BACK options to help you pay for lessons within your budget. With our pay-as-you-play option, you can start flying when you’re ready, without having to commit to big payments. After 10 flights, our students are encouraged to buy their own gear, so they become familiar with it before their proficiency sign off as you may want have something easier to handle and lighter weight to hike with. From paragliding lessons to gear our mission is to make paragliding more accessible to everyone, so they can experience the joy of flight and find their wings. Ask if we have any used gear as well.

S.I.V. safety training
Our paragliding school offers a variety of continuing education courses that will help you hone your skills and stay safe while in flight. Our most recommended course is our S.I.V. (Safety in Flight) course, held in the paradise of Yelapa, Mexico. Here, you will learn advanced safety techniques and learn how to handle turbulence. We also offer paragliding lessons in Montana to help you polish off your turbulence skills and walk away with the confidence to fly safely thru the Rocky Mountains.
flying sites and field trips
At our paragliding school, we will take you to many exciting flying sites and chase the permitting weather. Along the way, we will also take time to camp, bike, rock climb and enjoy other activities. You may even find yourself wishing you owned a van before long, as you explore the West and take in all the sites and sounds. Our experienced instructors will ensure that you get the most out of your paragliding lessons while crafting you an epic adventure and make sure that you stay safe while having fun.

BEGINNER paragliding lessons​

How to put a harness on, make adjustments for comfort, and proper usage for safety.

Proper reverse wing launch & techniques for higher wind conditions (5 to 10-mph).

Proper forward launch techniques for zero or low-wind conditions (0 to 5 mph).

Ground-handling of the wing: proper inflation and learning to control both brake toggles.

Control of the wing while starting in “reverse launch” and turning to the “forward launch” position.

Several advanced ground handling techniques such as: high wind launches, low wind launches, ground handling without a harness, weight shift ground handling, fast deflation of the wing, safety techniques, and upside down inflation to clean debris from the wing’s cells.
